Provider Policy
Provider Listing & Monetization Policy
This policy sets expectations for API providers publishing and monetizing products on URAPIS.
Last updated: 12 May 2026
Listing quality
Products must be clear, testable, and honest before consumers pay.
- Document endpoints, authentication, expected parameters, response examples, limits, latency expectations, and support channels.
- Keep pricing type, monthly quotas, pay-per-use rates, and tier structures accurate and consistent with gateway enforcement.
- Do not publish products that depend on unauthorized third-party data or violate intellectual property, privacy, or sector-specific rules.
Pricing governance
Active consumers are protected by locked snapshots and consent rules.
- Price decreases may be applied automatically to active subscribers.
- Price increases or structural tiers changes create a pending proposal, notification, and 7x24 hour consumer cooling-off period.
- Consumers who accept move to the new price after the effective time. Consumers who decline keep old access during cooling-off and are paused after the deadline.
Payouts, disputes & holds
Provider earnings can be reviewed when marketplace integrity is at risk.
- URAPIS may hold payouts for fraud review, consumer disputes, chargebacks, excessive failures, or policy investigations.
- Providers are responsible for taxes, business licenses, and sector-specific compliance applicable to their API business.
